LAUREN BISORDI LEPORE
FOUNDER
After several years at the leading law firm Winston & Strawn and before that at Anderson Kill, Lauren founded the Lepore Law Group in 2012. Since then, Lauren has focused on providing individualized attention and high-quality legal advice to her diverse clientele. A standout in negotiating with opposing counsel and attorneys on the other side of transactions, Lauren is the opposite of a “deal killer.” Instead, she offers dedicated service and a collaborative approach to making transactions and dispute resolution successful. Skilled in bridging cultural differences through nuanced and tailored communication styles, she represents clients in a wide range of industries and sectors (hospitality, TIC, construction, education, pharmaceutics, etc.) from varied geographical locations (U.S., Europe, Mexico, Australia).
In her experience as a litigator, Lauren enjoys a near-perfect record of victories on summary judgment. While she is firm in the belief that the vast majority of disputes can be resolved before reaching trial, she was recently victorious at trial on virtually all issues. She was also a member of numerous trial teams in a large firm and also has experience in appellate matters, with a recent sweeping victory in the 2nd Department Appellate Division.
Lauren’s ability to quickly build good rapport with colleagues and clients led to her record of building, managing, and working on great teams to achieve excellent results.
Lauren specializes in negotiating multimillion-dollar commercial contracts and transactions, litigating complex commercial cases, and providing both transactional and litigation advice to companies of all sizes. She particularly enjoys working as outside general counsel to numerous companies in a wide variety of industries. Lauren strives to solve her client’s problems with tenacity and mindfulness of a business’s goals and values.
Lauren earned her J.D. at the Fordham University School of Law and her undergraduate degree at the College of the Holy Cross. She is licensed to practice law in the state of New York and the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and the Second Circuit. She is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, and Westchester Women’s Bar Association.
Lauren has three teenage children: Will, James, and Nina. In her free time, she travels, does yoga, sails, skis, and reads.
